The Rainbow

It came to me in a dream. It divulged the secrets of the universe, expressing the nutrition it derived from consuming our galaxy. It's warped our perception of time, imprisoning our minds into a forward momentum that decays our flesh and hollows our soul. It explained it's surprise towards finding out humanity had sprouted so quickly, yet, couldn't manage to stick around. It had very little emotion when it was informing me of all of this.
